Schloss Neuschwanstein

What a beautifully weird experience! In 2011, I was in Innsbruck (beautiful!) and on the way back to Munich for another Oktoberfest marathon, I decided to make a pit stop and pay a visit to this castle. As most of you know, this castle inspired Walt Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. Unless you visit the castle, some won’t know that Ludwig II of Bavaria ordered the entire internal design to be based on Richard Wagner’s operas. It is a very interesting destination if you ever get the chance! The walk around the castle is very beautiful and you only need a full day, if you are in Munich, Salzburg, Innsbruck…..

  1. Greetings from far away,
This is a beautiful photography and the setting is so picturesque and nostalgic. Germany is one of my favourite locations. Keep up the great work 🙂
    God bless

    • Hello!

      Thanks for the comment!

The entire set up is very picturesque. There are other two castles nearby, not as impressive, but also very beautiful, and a huge lake. On the walk back down the hill, there are some breathtaking views!

      Thanks for following!
